Quotes

“Academic integrity is more than the absence of cheating; it is the commitment to the pursuit of truth, by consistent, honest measures.

It is an understanding that an education based on anything less than this commitment has little or no worth.

At the end of your two, four or six years of study, it is knowing that your efforts, methods, and pride in earning an honest degree can be neither questioned nor devalued.

For those who have honor, academic integrity is not a choice; it is the only choice, every time.”

—Victoria Wilson
Cook College, Class of 2006

Academic integrity presentations are available for fall classes

Of all the student conduct violations committed at Rutgers, violations of academic integrity are by far the most numerous. Some students may commit these violations without realizing that their actions constitute academic dishonesty or the consequences of violating the University’s Policy on Academic Integrity.

This site provides numerous resources to help students avoid academic dishonesty, understand the Policy on Academic Integrity, and strengthen their research and citation skills. There are also resources available to help instructors prevent academic integrity violations in the classroom.
